If you haven’t already heard the story, here’s how the mission began…
On Tuesday, November 20, 2018 we opened our doors to the public for our first property, a modest seven bedroom home on Ohio St in Bangor, ME. Fresh start president and founder purchased the home just a month earlier on October 9th and moved in the very first resident, Andrew Chalila. Within that first month, by word of mouth, we had five of our seven rooms occupied. We understood very quickly that there was a much greater need for this type of supportive sober living program for our area than one house could provide.
